Kinder Social Studies Full Year (Teacher-Supported)

The study of geography and history in kindergarten helps students orient themselves in the physical world around them and begin to broaden their understanding of other ways of life. Geography topics include the beginning development of a spatial sense (e.g., simple locality, continents, oceans, globe and map use, and poles). Students will acquire and use emerging geographic vocabulary and a basic sense of how we organize and talk about the biggest pieces of land by tracing and coloring maps, and associating continents with wildlife, landmarks, and other defining features.<br><br>This rigorous kindergarten curriculum is designed to be both comprehensive and flexible. Each subject is delivered through instructional videos and self-paced, asynchronous assignments, allowing students to progress at a pace that suits their individual learning style. Parents or guardians will assist scholars in completing assignments sequentially, ensuring mastery of each concept before moving forward. The course offers flexibility for families while maintaining high educational standards, promoting both independent learning and guided support where needed. This class provides students with high-quality instruction, including all required digital learning materials, class activities, platform access, and instructional services for the duration of the course. The total cost is $480 per semester covering all items listed with no additional fees. The course is delivered asynchronously and is designed for Kindergarteners.
