4th Grade Science Full Year (Teacher-Supported)

Students will study how the structures of living and nonliving organisms affect their functions, beginning with an examination of the human respiratory and circulatory system. By reflecting on their own physical reactions to rest and activity, students will examine the many different ways energy moves through the world. Students will question whether objects at rest have energy, while also enjoying the inherent fun of seeing what happens when objects collide. Students will then apply their understanding of waves to examine how sound and light propagate, which leads directly to an inquiry into the anatomy of the human ear and eye.<br><br>This rigorous 4th Grade curriculum is designed to be both comprehensive and flexible. Each subject is delivered through instructional videos and self-paced, asynchronous assignments, allowing students to progress at a pace that suits their individual learning style. Parents or guardians will assist scholars in completing assignments sequentially, ensuring mastery of each concept before moving forward. The course offers flexibility for families while maintaining high educational standards, promoting both independent learning and guided support where needed. This class provides students with high-quality instruction, including all required digital learning materials, class activities, platform access, and instructional services for the duration of the course. The total cost is $480 per semester covering all items listed with no additional fees. The course is delivered asynchronously and is designed for 4th Grade.
