4th Grade Social Studies Full Year (Teacher-Supported)

Grade 4 Geography covers a wide swath of physical features from mountains to bodies of water. Students are expected to master geography terminology and concepts such as longitude and latitude, relative location, and hemisphere. Longitude, latitude, and the use of coordinates are taught using maps and globes. It is also expected that our students will learn the location and facts about the world’s major mountain ranges. Students will learn about Ancient African Kingdoms from the time of the kingdom of Kush to the Middle Ages taking them into the Rise of Islam throughout the Middle East to the Mediterranean basin. This will lead students into an in-depth examination of European medieval history<br><br>This rigorous 4th Grade curriculum is designed to be both comprehensive and flexible. Each subject is delivered through instructional videos and self-paced, asynchronous assignments, allowing students to progress at a pace that suits their individual learning style. Parents or guardians will assist scholars in completing assignments sequentially, ensuring mastery of each concept before moving forward. The course offers flexibility for families while maintaining high educational standards, promoting both independent learning and guided support where needed. This class provides students with high-quality instruction, including all required digital learning materials, class activities, platform access, and instructional services for the duration of the course. The total cost is $480 per semester covering all items listed with no additional fees. The course is delivered asynchronously and is designed for 4th Grade.
