2nd Grade Science Full Year (Teacher-Supported)

Second graders will explore the natural world. They will focus on how matter interacts in its various forms. Variations of change will be investigated during analysis of how matter responds to a range of temperatures. The diverse impacts time has on living organisms will be noted during the study of local plants and animals. The structure of a specific organism’s habitat will be analyzed in relation to the function it’s providing. <br><br>This rigorous 2nd Grade curriculum is designed to be both comprehensive and flexible. Each subject is delivered through instructional videos and self-paced, asynchronous assignments, allowing students to progress at a pace that suits their individual learning style. Parents or guardians will assist scholars in completing assignments sequentially, ensuring mastery of each concept before moving forward. The course offers flexibility for families while maintaining high educational standards, promoting both independent learning and guided support where needed. This class provides students with high-quality instruction, including all required digital learning materials, class activities, platform access, and instructional services for the duration of the course. The total cost is $480 per semester covering all items listed with no additional fees. The course is delivered asynchronously and is designed for 2nd Grade.
